PHYSICAL & CHEMICAL CHARACTERISTICS

ALS Food and Environmental NZ uses primarily ISO and International Dairy Federation (IDF) methods where possible to deliver reliable results that are internationally recognised. Our results can be used as a part of your routine monitoring to ensure that your product remains consistent between batches and continues to be of high NZ quality.

MICROBIOLOGY & PATHOGENS

We offer a variety of your essential microbiological tests to help ensure the safety, quality, and shelf-life of dairy products, and to assist with identifying sources of contamination.

We offer essential tests such as detecting harmful pathogens like Salmonella, Listeria, Cronobacter, and E. coli, which can cause foodborne illnesses, as well as process monitoring tests such as Thermophilic spores.

Testing helps check the efficacy of pasteurisation and other processing steps, as well as monitoring CIP procedures to ensure your product quality and plant hygiene are not compromised. By identifying both harmful and helpful microorganisms, our testing helps you to maintain product integrity and meet regulatory standards for consumer safety.
